NuLine has a long, proud heritage that has lead them to becoming the specialists in high-precision viscometers.
NuLine viscometers are based on the original ICI cone and plate viscometer, which later became the REL viscometer, and finally, the NuLine viscometer when their parent company ATAC purchased REL.

At every stage of its life, a legacy of continuous innovation, backed by years of expertise has ensured NuLine has remained the leader in benchtop viscometry.
The ATAC NuLine cone and plate viscometer is crafted to ensure reliability. The cone and plate are manufactured from the highest grade of Tungsten Carbide – something rival brands cannot match – which ensures longevity far beyond the shelf life of stainless steel.
The technological innovation and engineering expertise that has underpinned the development of NuLine viscometers is second-to-none. Digital speed controls enable it to be reliable to 2 parts in a million. A beryllium copper spring allows for an extremely precise torque measurement (+/- 0.2%) and a very accurate temperature control (typically +/-0.1 deg C).
Being manufactured in Britain means every NuLine viscometer is crafted by expert hands, with only the highest benchmarks being set for quality, reliability and industry reputation. Nuline and its parent company ATAC have also been awarded the prestigious Made in Britain trademark, confirming their commitment to manufacturing excellence.
Total Laboratory Services Ltd are proud to have been selected as a UK distributor for the NuLine viscometer range, and are committed to upholding the reputation and values that the NuLine and ATAC names carry.
